Selfie Comic Hero offers a unique blend of adventure and education in its latest offering: a selfie comic sci-fi journey.

The narrative unfolds during a school trip to the renowned Haddock Collider, where an unexpected electrical surge transports you into a wormhole, leading to a dimension that is far from familiar. In this new realm, 'The Fresh' has been taken by a sinister force, threatening to plunge the Universe into decay, pestilence, and potential environmental catastrophe. As the story progresses, you navigate this bizarre Universe aboard your spaceship, Bluebird One—a vessel ingeniously crafted from recycled household materials for a school project.

Your cosmic expedition is accompanied by a host of intriguing characters, including the augmented interface 'Emojoe' of Bluebird One and the enigmatic Monks of Meta-4, Vaxxy and Bud. Along the way, you will encounter formidable adversaries such as the Vombies, Rusty 'The Dead Gunslinger,' Toxic Algae, and colossal mega germs.

The Selfie Comic Hero app features an automatic 'cartoonification' process that transforms three selfies (happy, neutral, and angry) into comic book visuals. The software intelligently selects appropriate emotions and adjusts the images for various frames without requiring user intervention, ensuring an effortless yet engaging experience.

Users can enhance their avatars with an array of quirky sci-fi hairstyles and cultural headwear options—such as Keffiyehs, Hijabs, and Turbans—available in the Hairstyle Selector panel prior to each adventure. This allows for personalization with every use of the app.

Throughout your journey, encrypted messages can be discovered and decoded using the CODEX feature to unlock doors, airlocks, and additional comic pages. You will also meet General Knowledge, who provides insights on diverse topics ranging from Anatomy to Environmental Issues and History.

Developed by educators, this app aims to foster confidence and stimulate reading through immersive role-play experiences. A built-in glossary facilitates learning not only how to spell words but also their meanings and historical origins.
